Non-combustible and quasi-non-combustible wood "Fire Buster Wood" construction examples in public facilities.
Introducing a case study of recruitment at the Shizuoka Prefecture Mount Fuji World Heritage Center. The wooden lattice on the front of the facility, modeled after "Upside Down Fuji," has been adopted!
"Fire Buster Wood" is a fire-resistant wood and quasi-fire-resistant wood that is safe and has low condensation and efflorescence, made possible by the use of the highly soluble water-soluble flame retardant "Fier Buster." It has been adopted in various projects. <Case Study at the Mount Fuji World Heritage Center in Shizuoka Prefecture> Our quasi-fire-resistant wood "Fire Buster Wood Hinoki" was adopted in the Mount Fuji World Heritage Center in Shizuoka Prefecture (opened on December 23, 2017). It is part of the indoor wooden lattice at the front of the facility, designed to resemble "Upside Down Fuji." This inverted conical wooden lattice is designed in the shape of "Upside Down Fuji," and the interior features a spiral slope that allows for a simulated experience of climbing Mount Fuji.
